WORKSHOP MANAGER
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who understands agricultural machinery, values efficiency and takes pride in running a tight, professional workshop.
Key responsibilities:
Manage day to day workshop operations and scheduling
Lead, mentor and support technicians to maintain high standards of workmanship
Oversee diagnostics, repairs and servicing of agricultural machinery
Coordinate parts, labour and job progress to meet deadlines
Maintain workshop safety, compliance and documentation
Communicate clearly with customers about job status and timelines
Work closely with parts and sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery
MECHANIC
Based in our Colac branch, we are looking for a fully qualified AND an apprentice diesel mechanic to join the team in our busy workshop.
With a wide variety of machines to work on from tractors to headers, telehandlers and more, no two days will be the same.

WORKSHOP MANAGER

You manage workshop operations, oversee apprentices, and ensuring smooth workflow through effective job coordination and data management.
Skills & Experience
– Mechanical knowledge and workshop experience.
– Strong administrative skills, including data entry and document management.
– Experience in apprentice supervision or team leadership.
– Ability to manage timesheets and workflow effectively.
– Good communication and organisational skills.
PARTS INTERPRETER/ADMINISTRATION
The role involves being organised and motivated to work with our customers to get their parts ordered and to them as quickly as possible.
You’ll need to be able to:
have computer skills
take phone and counter orders and sales
work with suppliers
liaise with the workshop team
be customer focused
An experienced candidate is preferred.
SALES REP
You choose the location! We’re looking for a sales representative to join the Swayn & McCabe team.
We have customers from Geelong to Colac to Ballarat to Mount Gambier and everywhere in between. With branches at Colac, Warrnambool & Ballarat, you can be flexible where you want to work.
We’re looking for someone with experience in a similar role or good knowledge of farm machinery.
